The team
Thomas Bideau
Co-founder and Chairman
Thomas holds a degree in geology from IGAL and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne. With over 20 years’ professional experience, he has worked for major groups such as Total, ERAMET and Imerys. In 2017 he founded H-Expertise Services S.A.S., which specialises in fluid inclusion analysis and environmental modelling. A keen beekeeper, he spends part of his spare time keeping bees, which is his way of helping to preserve the environment.
Vanessa Dyja-Person (PhD)
Geologist – Fluid inclusion expert
Vanessa, who holds a PhD in geology from the University of Lorraine, is an experienced geologist with 14 years’ experience in fluid inclusion analysis. She worked in the mining industry for 4 years and in the oil and gas sector for 10 years. Passionate about geology, Vanessa set up H-Expertise Service in 2017. With her combination of academic knowledge, industrial experience and passion for earth sciences, Vanessa is a valuable resource in the field of fluid inclusion analysis and geochemistry.
In her spare time, Vanessa balances her passions for science and relaxation. She loves reading, ranging from classic literature to the latest best-selling contemporary novels.

Are you passionate about carbonate U-Pb dating, clumped isotopes, and fluid-rock interaction studies? Join H-Expertise Services, a growing geoscience consultancy developing cutting-edge analytical tools for subsurface characterization and energy transition projects.
We’re looking for a PhD-level geochemist or geologist with strong expertise in mass spectrometry (IRMS, LA-ICP-MS) and a solid R&D background to lead high-impact projects on diagenesis, thermal evolution, and reservoir fluid history.
💡 What you’ll do:
– Develop and apply innovative protocols (Δ47, U-Pb, fluid inclusions)
– Lead scientific and technical R&D projects
Support commercial efforts through project design, client interaction, and technical promotion
– Publish, present, and represent the company in academic and industrial networks
🔬 Required:
– PhD in geochemistry or sedimentology
– 2+ years of lab experience
– Strong publication record
– Fluent in English (French is a plus)
